Access to the house

By car :

• A43 exit Bourgoin-Jallieu (coming from Lyon), La Tour du Pin, les Abrets en Dauhiné,
• A42 exit Ambérieu-en-Bugey, Lagnieu

By train then car rental:

• La Tour du Pin Station (35 min)
• Bourgoin-Jallieu station (40 min)
• Ambérieu-en-Bugey station (45 min)
• Lyon Saint Exupéry station (50 min)
• Gare de Lyon Part Dieu or Perrache (1h15)

By plane then car rental:

• Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport (50min)
• Geneva Airport (1h30)

By bike :

• Viarhôna: exit the cycle path at the Port de Groslée then follow the direction of Lhuis. A gentle climb of around 4km to Lhuis and the house. If necessary, we can come and pick you up at the Port of Groslée

The parking

La Lhuiseraie is a village house, located in the heart of Lhuis. It is made up of two terraced houses, on one side the gîte and on the other the guest rooms, with each part having its own entrance and terrace. The house is accessed either through the village, through two separate entrances (one for the gîte and one for the guest rooms), or through the park. Parking spaces are available inside the park, under the plane trees. You also have the possibility to park for free in the village square in front of the house.

When you arrive, we advise you to park in the free parking lot in front of the house (next to the post office), then come and ring our house at number 22. The network is a little capricious in this part of the village , you will probably have difficulty reaching us but don't panic, the house is very easy to find, it is located right opposite the post office!

For cyclists and motorcyclists

For travelers on motorbikes and bicycles, you will access the house through the gate and then you can store your bikes/motorbikes in a secure garage . We are equipped with a bicycle repair kit and a compressor to re-inflate the tires. You can also clean your equipment outside. A socket is available in the garage to recharge bicycle batteries.

We offer a laundry service for €5/machine which includes machine washing your laundry at the desired temperature and tumble drying. The linen will be returned to you clean and dry (not ironed) the next morning before your departure.
